I'm uploading two versions of this. Tatted and not tatted. Why? Because I can, and I want to see which one's better.Second of two (Wow. How genius) with tats. I think she looks a bit better with them. Do you?
DONE COMPLETELY IN PHOTOSHOP. It took me like. Eight hours. I kept my promise, kiddies. I really did this time.

I caught the non-tat version on the front page and decided to wait for the tattoo version. :]
I like this version better, but probably because I think face tattoos are totally th'sex. 8] However, what really caught my eye about this originally was the fantastic coloring and great colors! Also, you have a great, refreshing style- it's such a relief to see something that doesn't look completely influenced my anime/manga. I'm going to browse your gallery now.
My only crit is that if you do more closeups like this in the future, go all-out with the eyes! Add spiderweb texture (the ridges you see on the iris) and more layers of color, and you're REALLY capture the viewer.

I thought of doing that, actually. The whole eye-detail. However, I'm rather tired and have been working on this continually for over I forgot how many hours. My back hurts.
But I may go back and fix that tomorrow. Because I'm a stickler for perfection now, it seems.
And anime and manga are all fine and dandy, but I rarely watch or read. So I've been more taking cues from the classic Disney movies and from other such things. The originality is actually not intentional. I actually would love to draw a decent Chi or Vash. But I can't, so whatever.

Ah, it was in no way a jab at anime/and manga, though, just to make sure the comment wasn't percieved as such. But it is nice to see art on DA stray form such influences. :]
