...so guess who got into self-shipping a while back. o: Me and Isabelle are takin' the day off running this town (honestly we should probably just call her the mayor, she does more work than me) and having a date on the beach. And ice creams! No chocolate for Isabelle because doggy, she's got pumpkin and vanilla while I've got cinnamon (never had cinnamon ice cream before but I imagine cinnamon sugar and that sounds goood) and raspberry chip. ...Wait, can AC dogs actually eat chocolate? I know they can drink coffee just fine, and I don't remember Isabelle's order since I barely did any cafe stuff but does she get mocha? Mocha is basically chocolate coffee, right?? Guess I was worried for nothing if that's the case...

Also, guess who started shading a good chunk of the character art before realizing the background's light source was on the complete opposite side of the image! That's right, it's meeeeeeeeeeeee XD If I hadn't had us actively interacting with the background elements (ie. footprints in the sand) I could've just reversed it, but ah well. Not the first time I've done this sort of thing, definitely won't be the last. Mistakes happen and that's okay. Speaking of mistakes, I should probably make us match a bit better next time I draw self-shippy stuff with Isabelle, either put myself in mayor mode or make her less chibi-esque. The former'll probably be easier to visualize.
