Having a little fun with some internet history! Way back in the earliest days of setting up computer networks, one of the first virus-adjacent programs was created. It was called Creeper, and it would copy itself onto another networked machine with the message "I'm the Creeper! Catch me if you can!" People using that network got understandably cheesed off, so one of 'em developed one of the first anti-virus programs to try and curb it, calling that program Reaper. You can see where this is going XD

I'm sure I'm missing a lot of the details in that very truncated summary of things, but this image popped in my mind while watching a video talking about this whole thing and I couldn't resist. Obviously the people on that network would have no knowledge of Minecraft (and maybe not even Scooby-Doo, which is the only other pop culture Creeper I can think of) and we all know the actual origin of the Minecraft creeper at this point, so I'm guessing the shared name is one big coincidence to reference both entities' tendencies of creeping around. Still funny tho X3

...I think I'll keep this reaper character in storage for future use, if I ever need a reaper again. His name is now Jack :3
