Staff position: teacher (PE)/ladies' basketball coach
Abilities: agility, acrobatic skill, skill with projectile weaponry
Theme song: Samus's Theme from Metroid Prime (Brawl mix)
One of Nintendo High's two PE teachers. Samus is a fairly no-nonsense kind of woman, though she always encourages her students to do their best in her class. Like Donkey Kong, she is also a former student of Nintendo High, and her current role as coach of the ladies' basketball coach makes a lot of sense as she was a key player on the team back in her school days. Not only is she great on the court, she's also quite the sharpshooter with various high-tech weapons, even rumored to have a specially designed set of power armor. She is fairly close friends with fellow teacher and school counselor Palutena, though she could do without the odd jokes that she and her protégé Pit come up with on a regular basis.

So I've had this design done for quite some time, literally the only thing holding me back from posting it was that I hadn't finished the bio (mainly because I don't know much about the Metroid series). I decided to just go ahead and save the heavy-duty research for the extended bio, as well as include some bits that were mentioned in FawkesTheSkarmory 's bio for Palutena (who, spoiler alert, will be showing up in ch13!!).

For this design, I tried to include elements of both Samus' Varia suit and Zero suit, while desperately trying to make it so that the different color schemes didn't clash too badly. I think it turned out okay...
