The Mario games have a strange continuity, don't they? I mean, when you have baby versions of characters appearing alongside older versions of them in certain games, a lot of questions tend to be raised.

I think the questions have been answered, or at least the one of how they're in the same time period at the same time, considering time travel is an actual thing in canon. ;3
