...I can SO totally see this happening, I present to you, University of Denver, Silent-Hill style!

And I can say with the utmost confidence that I know that there's *AT LEAST* two people who'll shoot me when they see this (actually, one person probably won't see it, since she doesn't frequent deviantart at all....). But before they do: I CAN'T HELP IT! SILENT HILL'S *EVERYWHERE!!* TT____TT

...Anyways, this is a map I got from orientation week, and I bastardized the hell outta it. I used a red sharpie (and accidently a black bic, but I covered that up with the sharpie...) and a lighter.

Funny thing is, is that the comments I wrote, such as "belltower", "statue", "observatory", and "compass" are all actual parts of the campus! I'm especially creeped out by the "compass" (I wasn't sure what to call it); it's this super old metal plate with a dial on the center, and there's these lines engraved on it that supposedly points to a city (there's Boulder, Colorado Springs, etc.). And the first thing I thought was "Man, I can definetly see this as a puzzle...*twitch*." The statue is pretty creepy too; it's a life size replica of these two women; one's holding a book, and the other's looking over her shoulder. It's especially un-nerving when you see it at night, lemme tell ya whut *shudders*

Doesn't help that there's a shitload of construction going on (so big scary machines and broken windows, etc.) and not a whole bunch of people. Plus the fact that D.U.'s been around since the fuckin' 19th century (1864, to be exact) *WITH* three or so buildings from that time still standing...

...Yeah, it's fuckin' awesome. *___*
