Description
This is a majorly re-touched old piece that I have always liked, but always also hated. The original drawing was a ballpoint pen sketch done on a flight I had to California back in 2002 (or was it 2003? ) and then colored in open canvas. This version has been retouched in Photoshop CS3.Young Sizer, again from the manga "The Violinist of Hameln", sits broken while mourning her actions atop a mound of corpses only just buried by the fresh snowfall.

Wow.. I'm definetly +fav'ing this one, there's so much emotion in this, one thing I really like about art, is art that makes you think about what's going on when you look at it, something that makes the viewer grasp the image more, and that's something you've definetly done in this one

I like it better before the edit. The scythe could be seen as a war axe with a hole in the middle to make it more wicked, and having more snow put too much emphasis on the snow, I thought.

Ahh..but the point was the scythe isn't a war axe- its very much a scythe and I just fux0red the perspective. I don't tinker with other people's character designs, if I can help it. Since this is fanart, it was actual flaw

This is so beautiful! I like the hair the most o.o. It looks so flowing and effortless. Your sketch looks so clean too! Even after I ink a sketch they're no where near this clean >.>; I can't see any problems with this picture and I don't think it would have mattered before. You're talented and its a wonderful pic and no nit picking can take that away

....damn....that really is an incredible piece. No doubt about it, goinna have to fav that one! Gorgeous composition. Everything is very propotionate, has a lot of feeling and just plain flopws well. Maybe have the top fade to something different or jsut shade a bit to focus on the character, but really this is stunning. Cant really see anythingout of place.
