Description
This is a majorly re-touched old piece that I have always liked, but always also hated. The original drawing was a ballpoint pen sketch done on a flight I had to California back in 2002 (or was it 2003? ) and then colored in open canvas. This version has been retouched in Photoshop CS3.Young Sizer, again from the manga "The Violinist of Hameln", sits broken while mourning her actions atop a mound of corpses only just buried by the fresh snowfall.

I really like the emotion you placed into this picture. You can really feel for the character. It's touching. I generally find the fallen angel pics have so much emotion you can't help but feel for it. Your coloring style is very cool as well, the way you use different monotone shades brings over the feelings of death and suffering as well. It helps that the lineart is spectacular too, and overall this is a great pic. It's a definate new fave!
