I guess he kind of matches Sizer.I love this boy. I actually drew this in figure drawing one day... the model wasn't even posing like that, I was just tired of drawing him because he wouldn't ever take any interesting poses on the second half of class and just kept repeating the same pose again and again.
So I drew vocal.
problem solved.
this is actually on huge paper... I might sell the original marker drawing (vocal himself is all marker, as well as the ground, the background was painted digitally)
stuffy stuff.

I've started reading Violinist of Hameln because of you, and have fallen in love with Vocal for his insanity and sadistic ways. You capture the essence of him so well, and your technique is flawless, and I am just in awe.

This is utterly fantastic. I have just recently started reading Violinist of Hameln (all due to your fanart, actually) and so far, Vocal is my favorite. I adore the way you portray him; his insanity is much more apparent in your work than the original, I think, and there is a much more ominous feel looking at this, than in any of the pages of the manga (at least, to where I've read up to).
Also, your technique is fantastic. I struggle with markers sometimes, but you seem to have the color theory down to a T.
Overall, this drawing is fantastic in both technique and content, and I hope you continue to do more artwork of Vocal.

This is pretty flipping awesome. Love how you made the digitally-created bg match the traditional so well. And the lighting is wonderful, especially those reflections in the metal ball.
