The darkness did indeed destroy the light.I said I'd upload it, so here it is. The matching piece to Deity, Mystic's portrait, featuring Zev. He had always thought he had befriended the darkness, but its easy to lose sight of things right infront of you until its too late. Some people change and some just can't be changed.
I will (try) to do Isis' next but I have a few projects lined up (paid works and such) so we'll see how long she takes.

bloody hell... putit this way...this is thebest piece of art i have ever ever seen...its gorgeous... i dunno what else to say... i love it...the colours kick ass too.... man, i wish i had ur beautiful talentness, XD

this picture is OK. although to be honest it leaves something to be desired. The coloring job looks a bit rushed, and im not too fond of the hair color, it lacks depth and substance. Also the idea of being stabbed in the back and being blindfolded is honestly very cliche. There is probably a better way to convey the idea of betrayal, especially with the blindfolds and the blood tears. This paired with the small beads on the head is very suggestive of a sort of Christian, Mary-like, martyr image. Then the character (i cant tell if its a male or a female because there is too little detail... i guess a girl) has henna all over his/her arms which is suggestive of some eastern religious significance. This sets up the viewer for some kind of awkward contradiction. I dont know if this was intentional or not, but either way it is both unneccesary and a bit too obvious. The fingernails are a bit weak as well. I cant tell whether he/she simply has long nails or is supposed to be some type of were-beast with claws. Also the jewels and tattoos suggest some sort of ritualistic nature to what is going on in the picture, however her clothes do not seem ritualistic at all. They are bland and a bit tacky to be honest, resembling everyday clothing. They just seem out of place in the picture.
Overall, the color isnt that impressive, neither is the idea in this piece. There is definitely alot of effort though, and that does add some charm to what is otherwise a relatively bland and uninspiring piece that lacks the marks of a trained hand. Perhaps pursuing an art degree would help you to improve your work. It would surely help you to improve your technique, especially in shading and in sketching, which seem to be the most obvious drawbacks in this piece. The lines are far too strong on her head, which subconsciously puts the viewer under a sense of pressure or tension, which isnt pleasant at all. A degree would definitely boost your style and technique, and make your art less cliche. Im sure you can improve if you keep at it though. Hope this helps.

You're so good with natural mediums!! The screenshot of you working on it already flipped me out!!! I can't imagine seeing this in real life! I'd probably faint! So inspiring! The attention you pay to detail is absolutely stunning--and for such a young artist. (Yes, you are older than me, but still) All of the truly stunning artists I know (a.k.a. Brenda DiAntonis, Goldenwolf, etc.) are in their late-20's, early 30's...but you surpass them all. I really think you'll go far, gorgeous work, and I can't wait to see the third. As soon as I get enough money...I'd like to purchase the set, actually ^_^
