Description
Tightened up her colors a bit based on a picture I really like that made for me. I really like the navy instead of grey since it's not done too much and I toned down her bright orange color a bit. This is obviously not a vibrantly colored picture at all and her colors would look darker but I just wanted to do a quick flat picture since I don't have any solid references of her ^^ I also changed her muzzle design a bit

Original Color Scheme: I gave her a more tan appearance rather than different shades of orange, and I changed her muzzle!

I finally finalized things for my character, I have her bio in the works but a few things will be missing when it comes to her personality traits.

Name: Blare

Species: Armadillo

Age: 20

Occupation: Spy (from n/a) double agent that has infiltrated G.U.N by becoming an "agent" for them.

Formation: Power

Alignment: Neutral (Team Dark with Shadow and Rouge; Omega is currently being rebuilt)

Powers: Sound/Vibration Manipulation

Abilities: Blare: /ble(ə)r/ verb- To make, or cause to make a loud, harsh sound

Blare's powers are different forms of sound manipulation through vibrations in the air. Her main ability is a high pitched echo noise she makes by using her lungs and vocal chords, the byproduct of this is powerful waves of vibration that can spread far distances. The noise is able to reach an unbearable sound level that can severely damage eardrums, bones, muscles, blood pressure and even damage property.This can permanently or temporarily disable her opponent based on what level of intensity she decides to use. Another advantage she has is being able to create static interference through almost any form of communication. This helps her immensely as a secret agent. Lastly, she can use vibrations and couple it with her artificial chaos energy in order to land devastating kicks and punches not only to her enemies, but also her surroundings. Her sound manipulation tactics can easily damage physical structures and terrain as she wills it to.

Back Story: Based on SA2, her story is a continuation from an alternate ending as well as situations from other games. After working for Eggman in order to get closer to finding out about his past, Shadow decides to leave him and follow his own path but finds himself doing small missions for the doctor with team dark if the offer is good enough. He doesn't answer to anyone but himself. Eggman decides to sell the original diary Gerald Robotnik made about Shadow's invention to G.U.N in order to get a large sum of money for his projects. He doesn't fear that G.U.N. will be able to advance or surpass his knowledge or power, so he doesn't consider the diary of Shadow's creation the top secret project it was meant to be. G.U.N. purchases the diary for millions of dollars in order to help their own research as well as lock it away in their archives so it doesn't fall into the wrong hands, of course when it comes to the government, there are always rats. An operative ends up leaking the diary on the internet for wrong intentions and before G.U.N. is able to remove it from the web, a few countries gain access to the information. Within weeks, many countries begin to produce android experiments. They all have intentions on becoming world super powers and dominating the nations by creating and using the most powerful androids in medicine, military, and police forces. Most of all military, in order to conquer and overpower other nations so treaties, agreements, and alliances become void as they take over. The androids never reach full power or potential because they're missing something. In Russia, Blare is created and is trained as a special agent. In order to power her, they use artificial chaos energy which is harnessed in 6 gold rings. 4 on her arms, and 2 below her knees (They are exactly like the power restrictors Shadow has and serve the same purpose). Scientists didn't master it the way Gerald did, which is why she has 2 extra bands. Eventually they realize that artificial chaos is not powerful enough and they need to get the real thing. Blare is sent out to infiltrate Sonic's group of friends and prove her abilities worthy enough to be an asset to G.U.N. She eventually becomes a G.U.N. agent and is able to gain access to the original diary as well as connections to the chaos emeralds and their power through Eggman. Her mission is to steal the real emeralds and return back to Russia so they can use the ultimate power to create massive amounts of androids in order to be the most powerful country in the world. What side will Blare choose?

Personality: Sarcastic, Sassy, Confident, Independent, Thick Skinned. It takes a lot to get Blare to break, because of her upbringing she's extremely tough and for the most part emotionally vacant. She constantly wears a poker face and it's hard for friends or acquaintances to figure her out. She prefers to be alone, although she is an attractive girl, she constantly shoots down guys and plays it off as her being independent. She doesn't have time to get invested in relationships because she (deep down) fears getting losings loved ones. Her relationships are usually superficial and benefit her in some way. If she doesn't see the pay off, she won't waste her time. Being connected with the Sonic Team as a double agent has unknown to her, cause her heart to open a bit more. She's found herself becoming more attached to characters such as Amy and Cream, and she finds Tails to be extremely smart and interesting. They connect on an intellectual level more-so than he does with Sonic. When missions come up she likes to do things alone but of course Sonic won't have any of that. She finds that in some situations if Sonic and his friends weren't there to help, she could have lost her life. (If I should compare he to any character so you have a better idea, she would be most closely related to Black Widow from the Avengers series).

Relationship Status: Single
(friends): Sonic, Tails, Amy, Cream, "Knuckles". She's close to Rouge.

(love interest): Tension between her and Shadow.

Likes: Hard liquor, traveling, hacking, macaroons, pasta.

Dislikes: Emotional people, crying, being outsmarted, seeing loved ones hurt.

Side Note: It does say she's a part of team dark, but in my story line she primarily stays with Sonic and his friends. Since team dark is an "on call" deal with the doctor, and they aren't connected to him, or considered his property, they often go their separate ways until they meet up again for another mission. Rouge, Blare, and Shadow work for G.U.N. and Rouge eventually finds out Blare is a double agent after researching her. Shadow knew from the beginning. Blare is introduced to the Sonic team by meeting Knuckles one day when Rouge decides to bug him.
