I always imagined Bramblestar felt really terrible for killing his half brother, but it was what he had to do. I tried to show his pain as he watches Hawkfrost's life fade from his eyes.
Commissions have been really hard for me, but I promise I'm trying my best to get them out. It's just something about them makes my anatomy skills decrease. So, to keep putting out content, I drew what I wanted to. I think this is just the best way to go about it, instead of forcing myself to do all of these commissions and not give out the best quality that I can.
Anywho, tell me what you think about the drawing, I'm actually really proud of it!

Me, too. Bramblestar made a fatal mistake, even for himself. When Firestar kills Scourge, he does not know. But when Brambleclaw kills Hawkfrost, he knows, and he does that twice. There is no way he can get rid of this nightmare anymore......

Β Β Not exactly. If Firestar knows, that is still impossible to make the right choice. It is quite unlikely to make peace with Scourge, and it is impossible to abandon his clan and friends, then he can only try to fight.
Β Β For Bramblestar, I admit his final decision to kill Hawkfrost is like an idiot, but that is also something resulted by long time hurt to each other. For me, I hope both Hawkfrost and Hollyleaf survive, but the reality is you may cause hurt accidentally and carelessly, but that hurt still can develop deeper and deeper as well as hatred in heart, and make each other harder and harder to forgive each other, and this is also why Scourge can not give up on revenging.
Β Β Sometimes, I always think, if Scourge was accepted by Thunderclan, or Bramblestar didi not kill Hawkfrost at the first place, how different it will be......

He truly has leadership and courage, but just lose because his cats are not united. A team can not live with just his leader's determination, and that is kindly why warriors have code and believe in Star Clan. Star Clan is no better than living cats except they can see everything from the sky. But it is just the cats of the Four Clans need something to support their belief, so the leaders never tell the others that Star Clan is actually not that "mighty" as most of cats think. Of course, nine lives count, but second important. Mourn for Tigerstar's carelessness...... '^_<

Actually, when I write my novel, I use a starting similar to Firestar, and construct someone similar to Scourge as well. Not exactly, as stories are totally different, and the protagonist is like me rather than Firestar. But still, I do this is because I kindly want to make a different story for two brothers fight each other. I hope I will make it good and reasonable.

I hate this...... Especially about Bramblestar and Hawkfrost's fight, as they used to be friends, and more like brothers than the pther two pairs. Blood relationship does not matter that much, but the brotherhood and friendship really do. Well, if you have seen Kamenrider Black, you might know why I say this, because Black is another protagonist faces this problem, and he actually has no blood relationship with his brother, but his fight is quite miserable......

His death was one of many that convinced me that the book was way more mature than people made it out to be. The image of Hawkfrost's blood pouring out of his neck and turning the lake red was so shocking when I read it. I thought of nostalgia critic's "a 'family' show". Awesome art!
