And perfect timing since I got the game today

HERE IS MY BALAN WONDERWORLD OC!!!

Thanks to my autism, my hyperfixation goes towards media that isn't exactly loved and this time, it's Balan Wonderworld! The game created by the duo that created Sonic, the game got a bad reception for it's bland level design, the bad 80 outfit gimmic, simple controls and confusing story. Now, I could rant about how these are just bad takes and now I got the chance to play it, I LOVE THE GAME!!!! The simple controls allows me to play without getting too overwhelmed, I like exploring the levels, the music + character designs are great, you can feel the passion from the creative duo in it and just Balan

And since the game is currently my comfort media thanks to that above, I decided to create an oc/Wonderworld inhabitant persona! Based on my current imbalance in my heart, about the uncertain future ahead of me after I graduate; so yeah, she's kind of a personal oc...
so, without further ado, here is my Wonderworld persona for a sequel AU idea!

"The Graduate with Fears of the Future"
and yes, I did also draw her in her game's 2D art style cause why the heck not!?

Name: Kathryn
Chapter title: “The Graduate with Fears of the Future” (Chapter 12)
Wonderworld name: Hesitant Artist
Age: 21 (but is confused for a mid teen due to appearance)
Height: 5’2” (adds to her age confusion)
Personality: shy and anxious but becomes more bubbly when she slowly warms up to people, loves to draw her friends, quiet, fiddles with her heart necklace when stressed, is on the autism spectrum which did lead to her unbalanced heart

Backstory: Kathryn was a hard working student, studying for many years to become an animator and work in the industry to create her own animated media. So when she left her college building on her final day, the sense of uncertainty filled her heart as her life no longer has a structure that she needs due to her disability. But before emotionally breaking down on her way home, she saw a blue cat Tim hopping into an alley way and Kathryn followed him; discovering the Balan Theatre, a place that she refused to leave…
(SPOILERS FOR MY SEQUEL AU)
However, in her ending cutscene; we see her leave the theatre and transition into her graduation, taking her diploma and hugging her family; with a shadowy and sad looking Balan in the background, watching her with a smile even tho his eyes are sad.

Level theme: An giant animation desk, filled with drawings
Costumes:
Act one:
- Drawing Duck: allows the wearer to jump into a piece of paper for 2D platforming segments
- Penny Pencil: allows the wearer to go towards small animator desks to draw and create objects to help navigate the level
Act two:
- Erasing Elephant: allows the wearer to rub out any stone/iron blockage while also being used as a attacking outfit
- Paper Pan: allows the wearer to glide off high platforms by turning into a paper plane
- Rainbow Princess: allows the wearer to walk across the rainbow bridges seen across the adventure
Boss: Dreadline (a giant graduation cap with eyes and smile that kinda resemble Balan, that uses a diploma for it’s attack)
