SPECIES DETAILS :

Active at daylight, where they have all the sunlight they can get

Feed on the ray of the sun and live by its protection

Weak at nighttime, the best time for them to lay low, sheltered by the flowers they call home

Kind-hearted in general, they love good teamwork that can get anything done well

Identified with their bright colors, even more so when reflected by the sunlight

As mentioned, they live in the flowers. They despise foul-smelling flower or insect-eating one

Physically weak, yet spiritually strong

Size is as small as a thumb

Sometimes share their energy among others

These creatures feed upon the The Sun ray and move about only during days for the reason that they need energy provided by the divine solar power. The glasses etched on her accessories are not just mere fashion. They have a special "use" which can be roughly interred as they multiply the amount of solar energy absorbed for consume. The shape and number of the glasses vary among each creature. The more glasses one creature has, the more energy can be stored into their own being. There is never such a thing as enough as The Sun's gift is unlimited.
Despite the fact that their lives revolve around The Sun, they never consider it a divine being. They like to think of it as an invaluable resource that breathes life into them. Much like what oxygen does for humankind.
Perhaps the downside of this magnificent glasses is they cause these creatures to stand out too much during the daylight due to the fact that the direct sunlight reflect in a way it makes them sparkle. Since these creatures very much prefer to mind their own business in peace, perhaps it is too inconvenient for them to be easily recognized by other different creatures for the shiny flicker during the broad daylight.
Usually they are inactive during nighttime, but there are some cases where they are forced to functionize using some of the energy stored. They can last to a week of nights without sleeping, depending on how much energy absorbed from the sun during active time. Forcing more than that and they will succumb to a very sound sleep which can be very dangerous if it happens in unexpected time.
