Oh boy here we go again!

I'm going to be uploading on Fridays and with my backlog you are going to see some major changes in art style over the next few pages, however by page 09 it'll be pretty accurate with my current art style so just be patient lol.

Time to meet Mr. Pokemon! I hope people aren't upset at how I've messed with the intro to this story (honestly if that upsets you then this may not be for you, hgss had barely any plot and I am fixing that) but I just wanted to skip the long boring intro everyone knows; you meet the professor, he gives you pokemon, egg, you go back, oh no Silver took a pokemon, leave. It's just not fun to repeat it you know?

Man I love how sentret looks, look at that baby. There's a ratatta behind it but that pole is completely in the way isnt it?

So an explanation for the hiatus, I had gotten some feedback that said I should be putting a little more effort into my backgrounds, since my previous pages had barely any and the establishing shots were lacking. As a result I began putting more effort into redrawing my pages rather than doing minor edits to the scans like the previous pages, in later pages you can see this much more clearly but the way I coloured everyone aside from Nagrom and Harold in this page does become the norm over crosshatching and pen shading. I did a couple pages this way and then my life got super busy. I began having to balance university and my job, and unfortunately my drawing took a huge hit in productivity and I completely dropped this comic and my animations in favor of focusing on those.

After the first year of university I just got sick of it, I was only enrolled to get a degree and it wasn't even in anything I was interested in, my classes just got boring and I couldn't will myself to care enough to study, so I was basically just wasting money to drop my GPA. In my last semester I took an art class and some intro to animation classes and my decison was made to drop out. I wanted to focus on my art again and I just couldnt with a school workload like that. Now that I work part-time I have much more time to do my artsy stuff, as you may have noticed by my recent uploads, and in the last few months I've been much more active in posting my work, not just on DA but also on twitter and tumblr!
So, after all this time I have decided to retake this nuzlocke project. I do have a backlog of pages made and hopefully I can keep the buffer zone nice and thick just in case I need to focus on other projects. I hope to get into a schedule of making one page a week while also working on my animations in between.

TLDR; School and work kicked me out of drawing, recently dropped out of school and went to part-time instead of full-time and now I can draw again.
