Hey! I noticed this ’MerMay’ stuff and since I wanted to draw the sorcerer as a merman lately, I did so with his adopted daughter, his second cousin to be honest, Dani Strange (my OC).

I have a story for this little AU as well.

For this, Stephen Strange is one of the best healers in the Merkingdom, where he raises his adopted daughter Dani after her parents died when she was just a hatchling. Stephen had always been curious about the humans above the water, and would often swim out and try to watch them in secret, which often got him scolded by Wong as the other man said that hunters might catch him if they saw him. One day, Stephen was out with Wong and Dani were out gathering ingredients to make more healing salve, when suddenly Stephen and Dani get caught in a trap by hunters, who hunt merpeople to sell as they were rare to get, especially a merman as they were rarely spotted.

Poor Dani was scared as Stephen would growl and lash out if they got to close with their prodding, until they were suddenly saved by a group of pirates well known as ‘The Avengers’. Of course, Stephen was wary of them and got defensive and protective when they got close, only to be surprised when they ended up freeing them from the trap. Stephen and Dani felt confused but curious, the latter having not seen a human before, while the former was puzzled on why they released them.

Let’s say it was the start of a great adventure.
