Sometimes, letting go is just impossible, even when you're upset by something you said or felt yourself. It creates this fog of worry, a worry that you made a mistake you will regret for the rest of your life. And maybe, just maybe if you had thought about it rationally, you could have fixed it.
When you're trying to clear your mind to drift off, these things stick in your mind and swallow you until you're nothing but a crying waste of anxiety.

But there are people who are there to help, people who don't care how many mistakes you make. Those people will be there, staying up late with you to make sure you're okay before they drift off to sleep themselves. Because You are important. You are some one's priority. And you are loved.
