I did this a week or two ago to decorate my walls. It's one of those box frames, the cheap clear acrylic with the white cardboard box inside, only I cut out the box so that it was hollow and made it into a cheapie shadow box.The matte is directly up against the front of the frame and was bought at A.C. Moore or Michael's, along with some stencils my friend has and my black inking pens to color them in. The rest of the pic is back further. Faron's made out of colored pencil on cardstock and the stars and moon are regular printer paper (the stars I used a paper punch for) while the background and grass are made out of colored pencil on vellum paper.
Everything is raised to one of three heights using those thick picture mounting dots for that nice 3-D effect. This is a picture so it sucks. It was too hard to get proper lighting that didn't glare off the clear acrylic frame. I don't think it would scan well, being 3-D.

lol yah. But I'd require the first $10 for supplies. After I'm done the picture itself I'll post it, and if that's okay I'll finish it off. Last payment before I ship
I can't really put a time limit on it though, because it depends how motivated I am. I might get both commissions done on the same night, or end up taking a little while, but if/when you do pay, I'll keep you up to speed on the progress.
Oh, two other things: I can only mail things on Saturday, and I can only at this time accept Paypal (direct bank transfers only, cause I don't have a merchant's account.)
You can pick a general pose and such for chibi Faron. I'm not sure about the background, you can suggest stuff but I might just need to go with a simple sort of sky and grass sort of thing. There's only so much I can do with the vellum!
If you want to get the ball rolling, you can pay me the $10 to purplelemon@hotmail.com and also email (to that address) your mailing address. I have a frame and matting, but the other guy hasn't paid yet so if you pay first I'll be able to get it out that much faster
But no hurry of course, whenever you want one/have the money.

It was fairly cheap to do, those frames only cost a few bucks for that size.
The mattes are a bit expensive, like 3 bucks, but hey!
