I did this a week or two ago to decorate my walls. It's one of those box frames, the cheap clear acrylic with the white cardboard box inside, only I cut out the box so that it was hollow and made it into a cheapie shadow box.The matte is directly up against the front of the frame and was bought at A.C. Moore or Michael's, along with some stencils my friend has and my black inking pens to color them in. The rest of the pic is back further. Faron's made out of colored pencil on cardstock and the stars and moon are regular printer paper (the stars I used a paper punch for) while the background and grass are made out of colored pencil on vellum paper.
Everything is raised to one of three heights using those thick picture mounting dots for that nice 3-D effect. This is a picture so it sucks. It was too hard to get proper lighting that didn't glare off the clear acrylic frame. I don't think it would scan well, being 3-D.

hehe well I might start doing them but they'll probably be a bit expensive cause I can't mass produce them, so no way to cut costs.
Cause I probably won't get too much call for them, so even buying econo packs of stuff would be off lol

I was thinking $20, everything included (tentative price, mind) but I have to check the supplies. I don't think they'll cost that much to buy what I need but a lot of the stuff I already have and can't exactly price out either. I think the shipping'll be around $3-5 and the frame will be about $2 I think and the mat will be about $3-4.
I'll have to ship it in a mailing box though, cause it'll get mushed otherwise, and that's about $2.
Those are prices for the small (like 5x7 I think) size.

Any particular pose? (try to keep it somewhat simple though, as it's easier not to mess up 
The background will probably be very simple but you can request stuff.
Do you have Paypal with a bankaccount linked? I can't take Paypal credit card.
I'm not sure how to work out the payment if you're serious... maybe $10 for starters and supplies, and then after I complete it I can scan it and post it, and if you're happy then you pay the rest?

They're not the foam kind, they're this weird clear gummy material that's ultra sticky and somewhat soft.
It's weird. They're hard to get off the paper though. They tell you not to touch the stickies, but if you're using something delicate it threatens to rip the picture or whatever!

KINDA.. but these are in somewhat firmish half-circles.
These are called DOTZ or something weird like that, and you can probably find them at most framing/craft stores.
I got these in the craft section of Walmart.
You have to get the 3-D ones, otherwise they're just picture adhesive lol

oh, those clear acrylic frames are like 2 bucks or so. The bigger ones cost more, obviously. I think a normal 8x10 siz eis like 4 or 5 bucks/
