Excellent concept and rather creative of you to use stones (I think they're stones?) My only gripe with this is I think you should have used a different background. The white is too overpowering and ruins the balance of the photograph. Perhaps that's what you intended, but I just don't like it. I would have preferred another color, perhaps 50% grey or even red. Red would make both colors pop out and would keep the playing field neutral. Excellent work.

We can't live together because our society thrives on fear, xenophobia and most of all the idea that "we're better than the rest because we've got widescreen plasma TVs". Get used to it. This world is never going to change. It's a sad, sad truth but what's the point fighting it? Better invest your time in making yourself get along with others. Just my 2 cents.
Either way, great simplicity. Good use of central composition and DOF. Good work.

I like this photo because of what it is trying to represent. I had the same thought and came up with this ([link] ) to represent the idea of "not getting along". The use of DOF is nice here giving the impression of a never ending line.

I might by the end of the year, I just don't have the money spare at the moment to set one up
If you seriouly ever want an image or whatever, send me a note. I'm sure we could sort something out via post and paypal, etc. I get my prints done by "Camera House" (Gerry Gibb's) and they're fantastic. Printed on Fuji Crystal Archive paper as well. I've sold a few prints to friends and associates recently and they've been more than happy with the print quality.
