Here's my entry for Dragoncoton's current contest. I'm not the best with story telling but I'll try

Here it is:

It was a warm, breezy day in Ponyville. Ponies were trotting here and there, whether it was going to see family or just going on a leisurely stroll through the lively streets.
Among these ponies was a midnight-blue coloured alicorn named Ephemeris Moon, who was on his way to the former home of now Ruler of Equestria, Twilight Sparkle. He was going to see his close friend & daughter of Twilight, Harmony Sparkle.

It didn't take him long to arrive at the castle doors, and as he was about to knock he heard a familiar voice call to him.

??????: "Ereph?"

Erephermis looked up to see Harmony looking down from the balcony.

Erephemis: "Harmony!"

*He smiled as he flew up to the balcony with her*

Harmony: "What are you doing here?"

Erephemis: "Oh... I uhhh, just wanted to come by and visit. Nothing much"

Harmony: "Then why are you blushing all of a sudden?"

Erephemis didn't know at first, but he was blushing deep red.

Erephemis: "Oh, must be the heat..."

*To note, it was that warm at all, it was in fact quite breezy*

Harmony could tell something was up. She didn't know what but something was bugging the stallion.

Harmony: "Okay Ereph, something is clearly bugging you. What's the real reason for you being here?"

Erephemis was taken aback a little by what the mare's question. He was blushing more red than ever, to the point where sweat began to drip down across the side of his face & it looked as if his head was replaced with a tomato.
This made the moment more tense as Harmony was staring at him with her beautiful violet eyes.
Erephemis took a deep breath and replied with:

Erephemis: "Okay you got me. The reason I came to see you was because I wanted to tell you..."

The words he was about to tell Harmony suddenly got stuck in his mouth.

Harmony: "Well?"

Erephemis: "I wanted to tell you that...(mumbles)"

Harmony: "What was that? I couldn't hear what you said there."

Erephemis: "I SAID I HAVE A CRUSH ON YOU!"

Now Harmony was the one blushing, taken aback by what what she heard.

Harmony: "W...What?"

Erephemis: "Yes, you heard me right. I have a crush on you Harmony Sparkle."

This now created an awkward silence between the two, both of them still blushing after those words were said.
Finally one of them broke the silence...

Erephemis: "I guess I'll see you later then?"

Harmony: "Uhhh, yeah, sure."

Erephemis: "Okay then, goodbye."

Erephemis spread his wings and flew off the balcony and towards the castle.

Harmony: "Goodbye Ereph!"
