The portrayed girl in the painting is a Churail. Here is a passage about the Churail written by Rahul; "I remember the bedtime stories I was told in my childhood, the scary ones. One that I heard quite often were tales of a female spirit who sits in the branches of the peepal or banyan tree in the late hours of night,waiting to attract and devour men who roamed with bad intentions. The story always used to end along the lines of "horror washed over his face as he noticed that her feet were backward...and that is when he saw his final sight, the churail in her true, horrifying form. The part about her feet being backwards was the one that used to creep me out the most. The fact that a peepal tree stood tall near my old house didn't help much either!" I hope you all like the painting
