Description
So I got myself some better watercolor paper and decided to do something on it. Besides having proportions a little off, the girl itself is pretty good for my experience with watercolor. However, I did make the mistake of doing the background last and not having small enough brushes to avoid some mistakes so it showed on the piece. I did enjoy making it though and I hope you enjoy!

I think to be honest there's still much to improve in this drawing, but first of all I like your effort on the bold coloring. You're not afraid to put colors either on the character, especially the background, that needed patience to make it evenly spread between small spaces like between the fingers.
You've pointed out about the a-bit-off proportion in the description, I think so too - you can always pick a simple proportion-drawing tutorial on Deviant Art and learn directly from the simplest poses available before using your imagination. Once you got it right, you then can use your imagination for another poses. Because if you're serious in art, you'll be required to draw the figures correct first and foremost before moving on with the shading, cloth folding, coloring, etc.
But again personally I like your effort, despite some off-parts it's good that you have the confidence. Improvement will happen soon if you draw often, so keep on drawing.~

Thank you! I appreciate the time you took to write this. Proportions have always been a struggle for me, and something I avoided since I started trying to do art (about 5 years ago) until about a year ago when I started doing more of the human body than just the head. I also really struggled with the nose without realizing the problems until later on. I did find some proportion packs and stuff on here so I will try to practice those a bit more so I can get it right. I will be sure to take the advice you gave and work on proportions a lot more. Have a good day!

Greetings! LadyDemonna here to offer you critique in the spirit of Critmas 2017 and because well, you asked for it. I want you to know before I begin that my critiques are meant to help, not hinder, and I sincerely apologize if you are offended at any point. Here we go. I read your description of this piece, and saw you realize some of the proportions are off so I wont mention those so much. I will say that her hands could use some work, she could use some wrists instead of her hands running directly into her arms. Her nose is a little to far to the right, could also be a bit longer, and her lips moved down further on her face. However you did a really nice job coloring her dress, and (I promise I'm not a pervert, I just notice things a lot) her breasts are well defined/shaded. Good job on the hair as well. Thumbs up! I hope you had a good holiday and are having a fabulous day! (Oh and I know I said I wouldn't mention the proportions so much but apparently I did - apologies for that. I didn't know if you knew specifically what was off so I mentioned it anyways. Sorry if it was redundant!)

Thank you! I'm sort of confused why you left a comment instead of putting it in the critique thing but I appreciate the time you took for it! Thank you for the wrist advice, I'm bad at wrists but I'll keep working on it and the hands look weird because my brushes were too big to paint the background and not them. Thank you for all the proportion advice. I'll try to remember or refer to this when doing anything similar. I hope you have a wonderful day and enjoyed the holidays. (it's alright that you mentioned them, it's what I needed to work on the most with the drawing)
