-*Story*-

After dropping Ivy off at daycare, Roxanne went to drop Ginger and Poppy off at their kindergarten class. At first, Poppy was excited to start school, but then, once she was dropped off at her class, she began to cry because all of her surroundings were new to her and she didn't know where to start.

Miss Angela: Oh, what's the matter, sweetie?

Before she could go comfort Poppy, Ginger already beat her to it. She took her paw and took her to another side of the classroom, away from the other kids. Miss Angela let Ginger do her thing, though she stood by in case she was needed.

Ginger: What's wrong, Poppy?

Poppy: *sniff* I-i don't wanna be here anymore.

Ginger: Why not? Just think about it. You and i will be in the same class, and we'll also be in the same dance class together! We're both gonna be together, and my friends are also really excited to meet you.

Poppy: B-but what if they don't like me? What if i can't make any friends? What if-?

Ginger: Poppy, Poppy! How about we take a deep breath, just like how Mommy taught us to?

Poppy nodded, and then followed Ginger as she took some deep breaths to calm herself down. She managed to calm down a little, but she was still crying.

Ginger: *wraps an arm around Poppy* I know how you feel. When i first began to come here, i was also really scared. Because Cinnamon told me to be brave. At first, i didn't understand what she meant, and i was really scared. But then Parsley taught me that being brave doesn't mean that you're not scared, it means that you're brave enough to try out new things, even though you're scared.

Poppy: I-it's just...it's just nothing like my old kindergarten.

Ginger: I know, and i understand. But i promise you, once you get used to the new environment, it's like things never changed. You can spend the day sitting next to me. Does that sound good?

Poppy: *takes a deep breath, and then smiles* Okay, thank you Ginger!

Miss Angela: Awww, that was very sweet of you trying to comfort your friend, Ginger.

Ginger: Well, she's my twin niece, but she's also my best friend, so that counts.

Miss Angela: That's lovely. Anyway, let's go gather with others for circle time. We'll be playing the Mr. Monkey game so Poppy can get to know everyone better.

Poppy: Mr. Monkey game?

Ginger: *giggles* You'll see once we start. Come on.

She then took Poppy's paw as they made their way to join the others for circle time, and Poppy spent the whole day close to Ginger and not leaving her side for one minute. Poppy has nothing to be afraid of because she has her twin aunt by her side.
