Clovershade and her sister, Batsong were born to Dapplefrost and Nightwing. Their father Nightwing didn't visit them often but Cloverkit knew that he loved his family. Her mother, Dapplefrost, was very protective and never let them outside of the nursery. Clovershade was still a very social kit and she always begged to go out and play with the other kits.
Apprenticehood
Clovershade was extremely excited to become an apprentice. That meant she could run around and play! She could meet new cats, explore, and socialize! She was sure her mother wouldn't keep her inside the apprentice's den. It wouldn't surprise her if she did, though. She never hung around her sister Batsong because Batsong wasn't exactly a social cat, so she just decided to give Batsong her space. That plan ended up in the two sisters detaching themselves from each other forever.
