Most adopts I see tend to be bought by people with great ideas for personality who love to RP but can't draw the characters themselves- it's kind of sad to hear you only will sell to people who probably would be able to design and draw their own character anyway. It's a little insensitive to exclude writers, thinking just because they can't draw their own art, they don't appreciate the character as much as someone who could do it themselves- from my experience, it's the exact opposite.
Good luck in any case. Figured I'd pass along my thoughts on the subject. I'll never fully understand the "adoptables" thing, I suppose.

I just said that I don't like when someone buy the OC and NEVER use it. I am not new in drawing adoptables so I know how it looks like. Most of them will never appear in the buyer's gallery.
If there's a person who is a writer and he want the adopt..what's the problem to tell me about that?
But.. just look. I sold the water OC and the girl who bought her deactivated her account XD Do You know how I feel now?
I could give her to other person.
I am not selfish, I just want to find good homes for my adopts. I am sure You would do the same.
