"Break is over! Back to work!"Not all of Streaker's crew were evolved from the common 'bottle-nosed' dolphin: Tursiops Amicus. Some were evolved from 'rough-toothed' dolphin: Stenos Bredanensis. Ignatio Metz, a human uplift expert, felt that dolphins need to be more cunning and gritty to survive in this hostile galaxy. These new 'stenos' were to be his masterpiece. They were included in the Streaker crew to prove their worth.
They certainly were different in temperament and behavior, and did not fit in well with the Tursiops. 3 of them, Moki, Sreekah-pol, and Hakukka-jo spent their off-duty hours venting about the current situation and the captain's leadership, which they regarded too timid and deliberating.
A bosun, K'tha-Jon walked in on their little 'conversation', and broke up the group and sent them to work, doing his duty to maintain the order on the ship.
K'tha-Jon was special. He was unsually large, and resembled ... a killer whale. (dun dun dun!)
