"The skies of Mat' Zemlya have long been dominated by Sky Giants. These terrifying beasts are thought to have existed billions of years ago before humanity came to existence. Thought to be distantly related to the sea-dwelling Naga, the Sky Giants exhibit scaly features not different from the watery savages of the oceanic depths. Their wings would span ten people wide, and their gut produces reactive chemicals that causes most of them to "breathe" fire. However, despite being lords of the skies, the Sky Giants are dying out, due to extreme weather conditions and overhunting by humanoids. This is primarily caused by their scales, which is more expensive than gold. Their scales are prized for their durability, and are utilized into armor. There are rumors of a massive sky giant that lurks within the harsh north, which is currently in a deep slumber. This sky giant is said to be as big as a mountain, and as powerful as a volcano. Among all sky giants, this is the only sky giant with a blackened body, and sports a unique shade of bluish scales."
