Description

•PwnCrackers Lore•

In the mist-shrouded peaks of the Elenara Mountains, which translates to "Home of the Stars" in the ancient Eiralic tongue, a creature reigns supreme, known to locals and travelers alike as the "Mjornthi". These majestic beings are the revered guardians of the lofty Elenara range.

With sleek, fur-covered bodies, their plumage resembling a fine, dense coat that glistens in hues of silvery-grey and midnight blue, the Mjornthi boast powerful, featherless wings that span wide and allow them to glide effortlessly through the turbulent winds that buffet the mountains. These wings, adorned with intricate patterns reminiscent of constellations, grant the Mornathi the ability to harness the air currents, enabling them to traverse vast distances over the Elenara range and beyond, ferrying the winds that facilitate their migration between continents.

Despite their remarkable aerial prowess, the Mjornthi cannot sustain continuous flight for extensive durations. Instead, they depend on the ever-changing mountain drafts and the whims of the wind to carry them across the expansive peaks, their haunting cries echoing through the valleys as they ride the currents, their presence akin to a living embodiment of the ancient forces that shape the rugged landscape.

As mothers to live young, the Mjornthi are known for their protective and nurturing instincts. Nestled within the crevices and precipices of the Elenara, their young are raised with care and wisdom, taught to harness the powers of the wind and to respect the balance of nature. It is said that the bond between a Mjornthi parent and its offspring is unbreakable, transcending the ebb and flow of time and enduring for over a century, with these awe-inspiring beings living for up to 120 years, guiding generations of their kind across the mountain peaks.

However, whispers among the local dwarfen tribes and occasional accounts from brave mountaineers tell of a darker side to the Mjornthi's existence. Legends speak of their predatory instincts, with rare, unsettling reports detailing encounters between these creatures and the unwary dwarfens who dared to venture too deep into the heart of the Elenara range in search of precious minerals. It is believed that when resources are scarce and the balance of nature is disrupted, the Mjornthi, driven by an innate protective instinct, may view the dwarfens as both intruder and prey.
