The man was experiencing a strange new feeling; I guess one could call it 'Vanishing Freedom'. Anyone who is eaten probably experiences this. The ability to kick and move around like you were in midair, yet those abilities start to disappear over a short amount of time. The horse's tongue scrambled and darted all over the man's back, saliva drenched his entire upper body. With the little light there was inside the mouth, the man looked up to see a dark void. He was getting closer to pure darkness.
