My Dad introduced me in videogames, when I was a baby he taught me how to play mario lol. Well... My mom didn't like the fact that I loved videogames, but years ago she told me that when she was younger and met my dad, she kicked his ass in Mortal Kombat lol.

My parents are exactly the same way. They think I'm too "old" for video games. To me, it's another form of entertainment like a movie is, except in games you can interact and do spectacular things you can't do in real life, just like you said.
