Just went to see the Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, and I had to speedpaint this badass dude!
This movie title is so damn long x) ... Still a great movie, and I hope you'll like the speedpainting!

Compared to the pokemon vs. celebrity digital art this isn´t the same standard. But hey you used 40 minutes on this and probably a lot of hours on the other. So I am still impressed! But if I may give a suggestion. Maybe the background should either have been an inch lighter or darker. It almost to me blend into his fur. I would probably have chosen a darker background or made a full one with trees or similar. But that is me

Honestly I did almost everything without any reference (just a quick look at the beginning of the sketching process), and it took me 40min to make it so it explains the roughness. Compared to my Pokemon drawings, it didn't take me a lot of time (my Pokemon drawings take me 10 hours each) but as you suggested I should have made a darker background so the render could appear deeper.

Great work for a speedpainting. I've never been able to do something like that, although i tried many times. Love the way you did the fur, especially the brush you used, it looks really neat.
