Actually they are the same as you said a they both weighed a ton, thus the american ton.
The european ton is actuallt spelt tonne

Thank you Eni, glad you like it. I'm quite pleased how it came out, it took quite a bit of time due to the number of pieces I used for the girl and adding clothes. I'm a bit slow getting through the zodiac signs, still just four more to go now!
