:'D I love how I managed to submit this less than 24 hours the end date, but hey its done! I started a bunch of drafts the day the contest was posted, but I never finished them, so I just ended up winging a new design that I could use after the contest ends ^^

I originally wanted to incorporate the duck-rabbit optical illusion into the design, hence the odd double sided faces, but it didn't really jive with me after a while. When working on this version, I wanted to make a very lenient design that could honestly go in any direction in terms of species. Since I didn't include a mouth in this ref, I thought that it would be cool if Tup could communicate mostly through body language, but I don't want that to limit her potential as a character! As of now I don't have much else to add, but for reference this design is most reminiscent of snails x mushrooms x worms x squirrels and would probably go well in a wooded environment
