Welcome back everyone to my ongoing quest of drawing every single Mega Man robot master. On today's episode: Iceman and Freezeman!

Last week I saw a very interesting post on twitter. A twitter user named korn (@dwn049), who I've been following for a while now, made a post about an event called Freezeice Week that they were hosting. I took a look at my list of robot masters that I hadn't drawn yet and both Freezeman and Iceman were still on it. So I thought to myself, why not take part in this awesome event and cross both of them off my list at the same time?

I think the colors look very nice this time around. I even got over my fear of drawing backgrounds and put these two lovebirds in my little robot master village. You can actually see this tree and pond in the background of my Aquawood masterpiece, lol. They're right next to Woodmans house, meaning he could just look out of his window and give his "Live Woodman Reaction".

Since the theme for the last day was "Spring", I wanted to incorporate some of the flowers that I see on my way to work everyday, now that spring is officially starting. The bigger yellow ones are daffodils (Or as we call them here in Germany, "Easter bells") and the small light yellow and purple ones are crocuses. There's this little park that I pass almost every day that's part of the campus I work at and it was literally an ocean of crocuses. It was awesome.

Something very funny that I think this image showcases very well is just how freaking complicated the robot master designs from Mega Man 7 are compared to the first line of robots. I spent like one hour drawing the line art for Iceman, meanwhile Freezeman and his stupid shoulder pads and designer boots took me like half of the entire time I spent on this image. The only other MM7 robot master I've drawn so far is Turboman, and I've got to say he was way easier to draw than Freezeman. I'm kinda scared of some of the other designs from that line of robots as well.... Like Slashmans crazy Son Goku hair, Springmans springs and Junkmans... just everything, really. We'll see who of them will be my next victim. I'm kinda feeling Springman. He's got a fat pair of badonkers. I love that in my robot designs.

I'm still amazed that I managed to get this done in time. Thursday was my 24th birthday, then on Friday my parents came to visit and they stayed until Sunday. And then I only had two more days to finish this. (I also got really addicted to Dragon Age Inquisition again, which I hadn't played in almost ten years. Wow. I feel old.)

The Transformers art got pushed back another week yet again, I know!!!! But it's literally so close to being finished. Maybe this weekend. If I don't get any other ideas until then. Though there is this fun little crossover... You may remember my Mega Man 5 art, where I drew Acidman and Crystalman "cooking" together. I thought, yeah might as well draw this properly. So I hope you're ready for the new hit series "Breaking Bot", hitting Deviant Art in the next few weeks (probably).

Anyway I need to cook dinner and then get back on that Dragon Age grind. See you next time!
