My cat, Enigma. I found her outside of my bedroom window two years ago and mistook her mewlings to be that of the kittens we had roaming around outdoors (I used to live in a rural, farm area and our kittens were garage kitties). When I went to investigate, I saw this little, half-starved gray and white kitten come 'round the corner- and she had a huge open wound in her head near her ear.She was dumped with her litter mates on the side of the road- a family who happened to be bicycling the following day found the other two and took them. They were not injured. My little girl here was infected and hungry and was the only one to search for help. Smart kitty-cat, huh?!
So, with some help from a friend, I nursed her back to good health and decided to keep her. We don't really know where she came from, and she's something of a ninja cat. Thus, her name became Enigma. (However, in seeking out a good Japanese name for her, another friend mistook the meaning of one to be pronounced as 'Negima' , and the nickname 'Negi' kind of stuck
