The aware for the most clichΓ© title goes to....Yeah, unoriginal, I know. But hey! It's the first piece of artwork I have finished in a very long while.
Inspired by my current new obsession of Dragon Age: Origins.. my favorite NPC companion, Alistair
(OK yes, I'm a drooling, idiot fangirl, but I really can't help it. He's seriously like..the perfect guy. u__u Damn you, David Gaider...)So...the lighting arrangement is probably not spot on, but for not having felt very 'art driven' lately, it was a fun quick thing to do.

I've always wondered if the party has a conversation about getting naked for that urn. Or if there was a pact to NEVER speak of it. Excelently drawn. I like that its sexy, but he's not playing to a viewer. He's just doing something, and sexy just happens.
Some of the light and shadows on the muscles are confusing. On the arms some of those muscle groups look concave because of the highlight around the defining line.

for the embers around Alistair, it affected some of the shading I did as well. I really hadn't paid much attention to it.. oops D:

I did not know about the game until somewhat recently. I used to keep up on things like that... but working and other hobbies and lack of funds kind of made me take a step back from playing anything I had to actually BUY lol
Then one day I saw someone's FABULOUS Zevran cosplay here on DeviantArt... [link]
And kept looking through the other cosplay pictures... and wondered what this..Dragon Age was all about.
Came to find my brothers had the game and I had seen them play it before. Then found it on EA Games for download to my PC for 19.99..something I could afford. I thought 'What the hell? Why not? It's been a while, and it looks like it might be decent.'
