Now finished here: [link]I spend way too much time on YouTube looking at reanimated versions of anime openings and endings with different characters...I found a version of the Utena opening once with Luke and Tear from Tales of the Abyss, and mentioned it to a friend. His response was "What, no! It should be Rita and Estelle!" (Tales of Vesperia)
So I decided to draw it...XD I've been wanting an excuse to do fanart of these costumes for a while now. (and Vesperia fanart in general)
Got a little lazy with the shading, since the lineart itself was exhausting...and I'm still working on the bg...I'm gonna make it into a desktop wallpaper when I'm done. Comments on the bg color scheme are appreciated...I can't figure out something that looks right.
Thin lineart....so difficult...T_T

The lineart is really clean and professional. The black background makes their colors stand out a lot better. Clever use of the star, too. :9

This is beautiful! The background is pretty dark, but I don't really have a problem with it. (That's just me.) If anything, it makes everything else seem brighter.
