Couldn't get the pencil to look right...but this was just a test in a way.

For those of you who don't follow my sketchblog this is probably the first time you've seen Luke. Yeah, he's a fandom baby, I'll admit it. (it shouldn't be too hard to figure out who his parents are supposed to be.) But with the growing number of original characters in our KH/FF RP, if it's something I've put my creative process into, I'd like to claim it as my own, so...take him out of context and Luke is an original character. I tried to make him look as much like an individual as possible, instead of what people usually do by combining the two parents. (Do YOU dress like an exact mix of your parents? I mean, seriously.)

Lately we've been working with the kids a lot because, well, we've been following the original Kingdom Hearts II gang for...almost three years now? We ran out of plot. XD It's just natural progression.

Aaanyway, the one on the right with the hideous color scheme (I'm still working on a proper clothing design for him) is Fey. Aki and I started a 3-way RP with *Sora-na that I got pegged as the villain of...so I dragged out one of my old characters, Areign, who has the power to create and modify a contained universe. In which he dumped several of our characters in the interest of "testing" their reactions to different situations. Skye, Luke's best friend (who belongs to =mame-inu ) was among them, and Areign created a copy of Luke from his memories in order to manipulate him. However, the kid developed a will of his own and turned against his creator in favor of Skye, who gave him his own name. He eventually grows his hair out to distinguish himself from Luke, since the only thing different is his eye color. (unfortunately he's kind of a mess, being physically 15 and mentally only a few weeks old. He has memories, but they're skewed from Skye's perspective, so ultimately he doesn't act like Luke at all. He's impulsive and distrusting and has a tendency to let his temper get the better of him...not unlike, well, a little kid.)

Wow, I haven't rambled/explained something in a while like that. x.x Brings back memories...
