Description After a discussion on the basic outline of the bonfire shape I drew a cartoon galleon/sailing ship (a copy of this drawing will go into my Deviations gallery when I get it back...) The bonfire is built of palets (wooden bases for stacked freight goods) which are made into a series of chimneys. The chimneys (made by nailing four pallettes end-to-end into a topless and bottomless cube then stacked) are nailed together into groups and form the basic shape of the bonfire. This framework is then "sculpted" using planks from broken-up palletes. All the materials used in the bonfire are environmentally firendly, mostly discarded wood. The chimneys are filled with wood and the great Gavin of Dragonfire uses his wide ranging skills (and a chainsaw) to ensure the bonfire will burn evenly and, most important of all, safely.
