~THESE CREATURES ARE NOT AN OPEN SPECIES~
so here's some info about the common arkya! their old ref is really outdated anatomy-wise but it still has relevant info if you're interested
please note that their bodies are very flexible and that the size and build shown here is not the default! you can see the variety in shapes, as well as ear and marking variation in random sketch dumps in my gallery lmao

yes the neck/side/tail markings should always be near black (i usually give it shades of the base color but they have to be dark)
i marked them with color to show which areas i was talking about but i can see now that it's a little confusing woops
