Description
Elana was just walking around minding her own business when suddenly she heard a shout of surprise followed by screams of panic and the sound of furniture and various equipment falling to the floor. She cupped a hand around her ear to see, and just as she had suspected, it sounded like a whole lot of not her problem. With a shrug, she passed the door with the commotion to continue on her way. That's when the thick glass of the door shattered and tentacles came pouring out, writhing and swinging from whatever creature that had apparently caused all the ruckus. Unlucky for Elana, she hadn't manifested super-human reaction speed, so by the time her body had decided to run, a tentacle had already grabbed hold of her ankle, and swept her feet right out from under her. The thud against the floor was the least of her problems however, as she was quickly getting pulled through the broken window and back toward whatever these tentacles belonged to.
