I have no money, so I can't upgrade, but until then this is what I have to deal with. I know how to get around it most of the time, but it is still annoying regardless. I know that there are some backwards compatible modes, but I find the whole mode thing rather pointless and just want to get to what I want to be doing instead of screwing around with configurations.By the way, I may or may not post the flat colours of the dragon picture here.

I had that EXACT PROBLEM. I don't think there's a way to fix it, either.
