Based loosely on the tabby cat pattern.
About:
Name: I had the wost time thinking of a name. Splotched Tabby is what I currently cal it but I've also called it Tabby, Tabby Roan, and Tabby Appaloosa.
Homozygous Gene: StSt
Heterozygous Gene: nSt
The red lines on the palomino picture shows where the marking can't go past.
I apologize in advance for explaining is poorly. I'm having a hard time putting it into words.
My idea is a bit of a mix of the normal horse appaloosa and roan markings mixed with a tabby cat-like pattern. This mutation causes something similar to corn spots where large patches of un-roaned coat come together in stripe-like patterns.
This pattern can occur on any color. When combined with the roan gene the Splotched tabby roaning causes the narmal roaning to become even lighter. When combined with the appaloosa gene the Splotched tabby causes the normal appaloosa spots to for the Splotched tabby pattern.
If this wins I can definitly madke more examples to show what I'm trying to explain XD
