This was done a while ago, a fan drawing for Spectra Studios who are currently working on the RainbowFactory movie project.

What did you use to make this? It looks like chalk, almost.
I'm Ian, the Head Storyboarder for Spectra Studios, and while I haven't been as active in the project as have been in the past, it's thing like this that make me want to dive back in and find more things to do.
So, I'd just like to thank you for your hard work and enthusiasm for our project. It means more than you could imagine.
Another thing, and I'm only asking this simply because I love this art style so much; would you consider an art trade? I'd be more than happy to draw something for you.

To answer your question, I did this in sketchbook for galaxy, on the samsung tablet. I first did the base in black and white and then blended in the colors on top, on a different layer.
To answer your second question... yes! I would love to do an art trade with you! It'll take some time though, as I said I'm full up with uni work. I can draw anypony you like

I looked through your gallery, and I think it't the way that all your work looks fundamantally different from all the others I've seen. You've definitely designed your own style.
Which brings me to the art trade. I would definitely like your side to be done in that particular chalky-style, and for the subject, either Quill (the horse on my avatar), or Parthus, a pseudo-horse... thing, whom can be seen here: seventozen.deviantart.com/art/… (He's the grey one)
Also, whom do you want me to draw? Or what? As with you, I'll draw anyone.

As for your side, I do not have really anypony in mind however... I am making an RGP pixel game. In this game, the main place is a library. I've tried it to design it several times but I'm crap at drawing buildings. I can see by your work you did some awesome sketches of the weather factory.
If you wish maybe you could help me in drawing for me a little rough sketch of how the library could look like? It must be big, have several shelves on the ground floor and have some sort of 2nd level balcony. The rest of the design is up yo you

Parthus' tail is hair, but I know; the way I drew it made it look like tentacles. I hope it's hair...
The library, d'you want it to be 2D, say for a side-scrolling thing, or 3D just for kicks?
And if that's not too hard for me, I'll also do your OC, since I want more practice painting animals.
