With a sudden loud bang all went black...From the blackness I saw a light that drew me towards it, I entered the light, but to then only wake back up into the black. This time it felt cold, to the point of shivering, I stood up only seeing darkness all around me. Was there nothing after death? Many people believe in a heaven or hell, but there are those who people think that once we die there is nothing after,six feet in the ground there would only be black...Were they right...? In a soundless void I aimlessly walked,until the silence only broken by echoes in the distance brought fear upon me. Feeling blindly ahead I felt the cold wall of a structure, so I began to follow close to it. Soon I kicked into a dim glowing object, picking it up I pressed into it as it shot a beam of light ahead revealing part of my surroundings. Though there was visual isolation and a feeling of desolation here, in my gut I felt I couldn't be alone here. Looking up into darkness I squinted as believing to have seen a faint halo of light. Pressing into the device I carried a beam of light shot into the sky, for a brief moment of time revealing something unlike anything I'd ever seen or known...For a moment I thought of angels, but this is impossible, this cannot be heaven...The more I thought about it the more fearful I became. The moment I felt something close glide past me I knew it had found me. As instinct kicked in I ran ahead blindly through the darkness, distressed by paranoia hearing the echoing currents of air from all around me, catching glimpses of a halo of light and a lingering bright eye that pierced the depths of my soul with horror. Making my way inside an unknown structure I wait...and waited...and waited,with no sense of time shivering in isolation in the darkness. Faint echoes from outside and the ever presence paranoia corroded my mind and destroyed my psyche. I sat there afraid to use the light, afraid I might see something I did not want to know is there...The image of the angel now haunting my mind, I'd rather wait here to die.....But if I was already dead...How can I die...How can I escape...At first I choose my own escape but here where would an escape like that lead me...I eventually went outside into the dark streets of this city shooting my light into the dark sky, hoping I would be taken by angel. Hoping this would be my escape, yet I was unprepared for what would actually happen....What it meant to be truly gone...

This demon depicted is from a city located in one of Abstractium's gigantic floating structures known as “Umbras'reihl” located beneath the clouds. As you descend from a wide winding bridge into darkness,looking below you can spot the city of Umbras'reihl. Descending into the city you can see the silhouettes of many different kinds of buildings, as the vast ceiling above seems to disappear and become coated in fog. Passing through the gates it feels like a massive ghost-town desolate and mysterious. It is always quiet with an odd stillness in the air and an always present ominous feeling. In this city a bone-chilling cold penetrates your very soul and the lack of sounds besides random chilling echoes creates an unsettling ambiance and atmosphere as you wander in darkness. Light is scarce here but it can be found in mysterious lantern-like vessels giving off a dim light. They are found in various places,shooting a sharp beam of light they act as a flashlight,sometimes revealing things you have never wanted to see..... Lurking in the city of Umbras'reihl are the kin of an ancient god, pale demons with various parts of them shrouded in pitch darkness. If any shrouded body part contacts mortal flesh, that flesh then becomes also shrouded in darkness. It is very unclear what happens to the contacted body part as it is not present anymore physically but yet still appears in a shadow form, this sensation inflicts a foreign yet painful sensation to the brain. It is rumored that if ones whole body becomes 'shadowed' they simply do not exist physically anymore and become a shadow. It is unknown if they still feel pain or where they have gone but it leaves them vulnerable to become absorbed. Entities here feed off these absorbed shadowed souls. Those who are unfortunate to become trapped in Umbras'reihl wander this dark city aimlessly disoriented and scared as the appearance of one of its many demons is unpredictable. Paranoia plagues the soul as they do no know what will manifest or when something is stalking them until its revealed in light or just simply to late then becoming a shadow....

Angel: These entities are some of the few airborne ones that glide above and through out the dark city of Umbras'reihl. Also they are some of the only ones to emit a sort of light source from their halos. Faintly seen glowing in the dark above it is best not to reveal them as if they are alerted of your presence they will descend from above. If you feel something moving or gliding around you it is best to move indoors as soon as possible as you have been spotted by an angel. Angels usually patrol around looking for those wandering about fully shadowed to absorb and bring them to the god they serve. What makes them dangerous is that they do have the ability to make you into shadow themselves...
