'Firstborn' is a concept from my Blachaven Horror series, which will likely be included in a future book.

Very brief conceptual description: The bane that lurks in the nursery wing... With origins unknown this entity is not of any of the registered orphaned infants from Blackhaven Institution. Amongst all the other nightmarish creatures of the nursery wing lingers this firstborn, the egg of corruption... It's intense tortured cries bringing forth with it the will of the corruption. These cries enhance the corruption to give birth to nightmares far more twisted than what is already present in this world. Demons revel in it's presence, seeing this entity as a god or more like how a child sees their parents as god in their eyes... Also strengthening the power of demons already in existence that are its presence. This demonic entity one of the two firstborns found in the alternate institution and is one of the keys to the root of Blackhaven's corruption.

Blackhaven is a horror series depicting some of the most unique, chilling, and twisted nightmares imaginable. The horrifying nightmares contained in this book spawned from the ashes of Blackhaven Institution. A once massive orphanage located on the outskirts of the town of Blackhaven, between Blackhaven township and Dracove City a large sprawling metropolis. One day a deranged nurse stumbled into Blackhaven Institution and set a sudden fire in the institution. This fire at an unnatural speed spread throughout the entire institution and engulfed the whole building consisting of the Orphan Wing, the Nursery Wing, And the Hospital Wing. All of the children and staff inside were trapped by a mysterious force preventing them from escaping. This force barred all possible exits as they all perished in the flames. After a great deal of time had past since that horrible incident, a dark aura slowly encompassed the nearby town of Blackhaven and Dracove City. Ever since a string of unexplained and mysterious disappearances now plague both areas. It is said an evil presence can suddenly force you to slumber, taking you to a place of unspeakable nightmares. A bleak and surreal colorless dimension where an alternate Blackhaven Institution now exist as a towering smoldering shell of its former state. This alternate institution housing the souls of those who once perished in the fire. Here an evil has corrupted the innocent souls of the children and staff morphing them into demonic monstrosities. Wandering the haunted, ruined, and dark halls these newly formed demons are in search of flesh and blood pulled in from the outside. Victims pulled here from their sleep will come face to face with Blackhaven Institution’s former residents in intense dark and horrific situations taking place in either the Nursery Wing or the Orphan Wing. As long as the true cause of the evil corruption that plagues Blackhaven Institution remains unknown, there maybe no way to stop its wrath…
