New Darkness In The East takes place in Japan following an event known as ‘the skyfall’ in which a mysterious object has fallen from the sky in the middle of the night, fluctuating and disturbing energy sources throughout all of Japan. In the following days paranormal incidents appear to be on a drastic new rise. An ominous new atmosphere as fallen over Japan. Restless spirits have taken terrifying new insect-like forms and behaviors, they have become stronger, their presence more widespread, their curse amplified and more dangerous than ever before. The backstories will focus on the life, their death, the original ghost legend, and lastly the new amplified curse of each new individual ghost presented. This new take on Japanese horror combines the two great fears of ghosts and that of insects. Combining both of these unpleasantries into the creation of several new ghosts and stories of varying length inspired by the Japanese horror culture surrounding ghosts and urban legends.

Included are complete revisions and the unseen complete backstories of two of the most well known urban legends 'Kuchisake-onna/The Slit Mouthed Woman' and 'Teke Teke'.

This ebook also contains several bonus stories and Illustrations influenced by general Japanese horror created before New Darkness In The East.

New Darkness In The East- As time passed this station and many more subway stations in the area have been deemed cursed as mysterious suicides have been on the rise regardless of the railings and fees now associated with committing suicide on the railways to supposedly help prevent it. There have been reports online of people claiming to have spotted a young blind girl walking around various stations grasping onto the hands of those in the moments before they would commit suicide. After the skyfall event few people claiming to have supernatural and psychic abilities visited the stations in search of answers, soon after swearing to have seen something unexpected, truly horrifying with an inhuman form down there. Something so sinister emitting such a dreadful aura that they refused to enter the station fully nor take the subway system ever again... The suicides down there have grown more grisly and frequent, sighting of the woman known as Fukitsuna has stricken fear into the hearts of commuters.
