When if first saw this, I thought, "It's almost too early to expect really good fanart."

The background content is really what makes this picture stand out so well. Azog stands against dark shadows, marking his calmness and sense of dark power. Contrasting this is Thorin, ringed by flames and sparks, with great energy in his position.
Th character designs are not perfect (Azogs scars are hard as heck to draw without reference) but certainly recognizable.
This gives me personally the same feelings i got when i saw the movie, and have been flawlessly transferred.
All in all, well-shaded, well-balanced, and well done!
