As in, the next few pages are pure canon exposition so I can fill in any readers who don't know the whole story... I don't want to alienate people just cuz they haven't played it. :] I figured the comic should make sense and be able to stand on its own - but that doesn't mean I explain EVERYTHING from the game, just what I need to include for my story to work.
But I just came up with a really neat idea for how to present the next section... :3 It's gonna be fun and unorthadox.

Well, the story is really the only good part of Skullmonkeys...When I play that game, I cheat, all the time, and I can still go through 99 lives in roughly 20 minutes.

Well, Klay was meant to last forever, and from the way Hoborg is, I'd assume the Klaypeople live forever too. Unless you fall off the edge of the 'Hood, like if you jump down the plughole or what happened to Willie and Bil.
And Klogg died eventually. They very specifically say he died... so maybe Klay lives forever unless somebody manages to actively murder you.
